We’ve been keeping busy this year in our own hometown with a crazy idea we had: Loog Guitar events. Or, in other words, why not offer concerts for kids and then show them how to rock out once the gig is over? Luckily, we found many similar-minded people who thought our idea wasn’t that crazy and let us test it out. And boy was it fun! Kids were not only enjoying rock shows made for them, but also sticking around to learn to build and play the Loog Guitar. The more extroverted bunch even dared to hop on stage and try the Loog out! Others prefered one-on-one sessions at the end of the show, helped by band members and music...
Yup folks, the rumors are true! Our last leg of our never-ending musical tour called life led us back to Nashville for the 2016 Summer NAMM – and we came back Best in Show in the “Gotta Stock It” category!
Whew! Last weekend was CRAZY! First off, it was a different NAMM Show for us, not having our own booth and all. Still, this wasn’t a downgrade by any means: partnering with Hal Leonard meant that we were at the largest, best located booth in all of NAMM 2016 – and it showed.
This December we had our first ever Loog NYC Tour, where Loog founder Rafael Atijas hit the road to visit some of New York’s nicest stores. Tim Kubart, awesome kids’ artist and music instructor whom you might recognize from our #LoogAcademy videos, also came along for the ride.
Our second Summer NAMM was over way before we were ready for it to end – and boy was it amazing. Nashville’s Summer NAMM is supposed to be a smaller version of the Anaheim NAMM Show but well, you know how it usually goes for us: small is sometimes better.
