Our second Summer NAMM was over way before we were ready for it to end – and boy was it amazing. Nashville’s Summer NAMM is supposed to be a smaller version of the Anaheim NAMM Show but well, you know how it usually goes for us: small is sometimes better
We had a great time this year at the show and, we know we keep saying this, but we feel it was our best trade show experience so far: we closed some nice deals that will help us get Loog Guitars into more stores, more cities and more countries. We also met new friends, including some from Nashville’s songwriter scene who dropped by our booth to play for a while and left loving how the 3-string approach was making them rediscover guitar playing and songwriting.
And we had a great time outside the Music City Center as well, visiting our friends at Third Man Records, eating at Jack’s (best barbecue spot in town) and simply enjoying the sweet Tennessee summer.
Out of the many new friends we made in Nashville, we are especially excited about meeting up with the folks from Chicago Music Exchange, which is probably the nicest musical instrument store in the whole US of A. We hit it off and we’re THRILLED to let you guys know that they will be carrying Loog Guitars in the coming weeks – the little guitar that could is definitely going places!
Our long weekend was also sprinkled with lots of seasoned players and excited amateurs that joined us for a quick jam at out booth, most of them testing our newly-designed chord guide to kick things off. Seems to be a hit!
Plus, the cool cats at Reverb.com and Guitars United also dropped by and shot some videos of their own, which we’ve been sharing non-stop ever since. You can check them out below:
