Loog Guitars with David Mills at the WOS Day Camp

We recently checked in with our favorite music teacher, David Mills, to see what he was up to lately – turns out he’s been teaching up a storm at the W.O. Smith Music School (WOS) in Nashville this July and even has video to prove it! Every July, the WOS offers a week-long Day Camp for students aged 7-11 years old, who have little to no experience playing instruments. The kids only pay $50 for the week (the WOS Day camps are funded by the Country Music Association) and, this year, got to play around with multiple instruments to see which one they liked better – Loog Guitar included! Watch the kids play up a storm on their last day...

Learning to Play Guitar with Loog and Levi’s Kids

We’re always jumping at opportunities to see kids interacting with our Loog Guitars. And with the recent launch of Loog in our own hometown, we partnered up with Levi’s Kids to teach some kids how to play guitar while eavesdropping a bit ourselves The experience was amazing – kids responded in an overwhelmingly positive way to the Loog and even dared play a few chords here and there. We also met new friends, including some from Nashville’s songwriter scene who dropped by our booth to play for a while...

Johnny Marr Gets His Own Electric Loog Guitar

Oh wow, oh wow, oh wow – remember when a long, long time ago we actually met Alex Kapranos from Franz Ferdinand and gave him a Loog Guitar? Well, we found out Johnny Marr was in town and… We just couldn’t resist! That’s Johnny holding his very own Electric Loog Guitar during his show in Montevideo. Turns out, Johnny is just the nicest guy ever – we talked about Montevideo, our mutual friend Andrew Loog Oldham, and the amazing work he does with Rock for Kids in Chicago. Such an honor to give him his own little Loog, which he even genuinely seemed to like a lot!
